UKLC Parent and Child Programme 2019

November 28th 2018

UKLC hosts young children and their parents on a carefully designed Parent and Child Programme in Chester. Both parents and children will have the opportunity to improve their English language skills in a fun and culturally diverse environment. The programme has elements of joint and separate activities or excursions for parents and children, as seen in the sample programme attached here.

Key Information:
Location – Chester
Child age range – 5 – 13 years
Course commences – Sunday 28th July
Course duration – 2 weeks

What’s included:
– 15 hours of English tuition per week

– Full board accommodation in residence
– Morning yoga or swimming for parents
– Joint parent and child excursions
– Multi-activity programme and evening entertainment for children
– End of course certificate

– Double or Twin ensuite rooms

The accommodation building is situated in Chester’s city centre and is a short 5-minute walk from the campus for lessons and activities.  The families are therefore just minutes away from the vibrant city centre with it’s mix of cafes, shops and ancient walls, rows, amphitheatre, historic architechture and archeological features.

Chester is our biggest, most popular centre during the summer. We will therefore have many international students aged 11-17 years on campus until the end of September. Any students aged 11+ from the parent and child programme, can join our international summer school students for their English lessons in the morning. We have designed a specialist Young Learners Programme for the children aged 5-10years old, to help develop their communicative language skills. Adults will follow a specific academic programme, suited to their ability level.
