Mini Stays

UKLC offers a number of low season options for groups of all ages. below is a list of those programmes which include winter camps, mini stays and work-related programmes.

English Only

This programme offers students the chance to take part in daily English lessons with our highly-qualified and experienced teachers

English + General Activities

This programme gives students the opportunity to be immersed in interesting, active and engaging lessons in the morning, whilst using English language in stimulating and excellent activities and excursions in the afternoon. Excursions include a minimum of one full day and one half day per week and are tailored to the group’s needs.

International Day of Learning (IDOL) Days

IDOL days are a fantastic way for international students to interact with British students in both English language based activities & workshops. On IDOL days we invite British pupils of the same age as our international students to come and spend the day with us. UKLC have very strong links with many British schools in the surrounding area. This is only available during UK school term time.

UKLC Alternanza Scuola–Lavoro Work-Related English Programme

UKLC are proud to announce the launch of our brand new work related English programme in Chester for 2017/18. UKLC understands the importance of work experience for Italian students and the necessity to complete a specified amount of hours per year. We have worked closely with partner agencies to create a programme that satisfies the needs of students by combining business-specific English lessons, workshops, seminars and visits, all of which are designed to enhance the employability of the students.

Winter Camps

UKLC are excited to announce our 2018 winter camp options in Chester, St Albans and London Colindale. During  January – April UKLC can offer students the chance to study in the historic city of Chester in high quality host family accommodation, the rural setting St Albans or the hustle and bustle of Colindale in Zone 4 of London.

At all the destinations students can enhance their British experience by including a cultural tour which consist of visits to Oxford, Cambridge and London.

Mini stay programmes can include;
  • 15 hours of English tuition per week
  • Up to 4 afternoons of supervised sports and non-sports activities or specialist instruction
  • 1 free group leader place for every 15 students
  • Full board accommodation in residence or homestay
  • Excursions (min. one full-day and one half-day per week)
  • Evening activities
  • Conversation Clubs are available as an alternative to some evening activities on at least 2 days per week
  • End of course certificate
