WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

If you are interested in being a part of the Erasmus+ project, you need to email [email protected] with a copy of your CV. We will send you back an application form to complete and return via email.

We will then be selecting candidates to attend our interview days in either Chester or London. Following the interviews, successful candidates will be contacted and informed about their preparation course.

Applicants who are selected will be required to do some reading before their preparation course. They will be asked to submit their report from their teaching qualification which will indicate any weaknesses or areas for improvement that have been highlighted by their tutors. This will be passed to the Academic Director before the preparation programme begins.

The preparation programme will involve one week of input and will cover the following:

1) Preparation for teaching young learners

2) A day certificate in Sports Leadership

3) Language lessons – Spanish

4) A First Aid course

Following the preparation programme, the participants will attend a four-week placement with one of our partners in Spain. The placement will involve teaching English to young learners and adults in Spain at our partner’s language school or at local primary and secondary schools with the regions. It will offer the participants the opportunity to put into practice everything they have learned in their teaching qualification and in the training programme. They will experience living and working in a foreign country, how to adapt to a new and different culture and have the chance to learn or improve their language skills.

If you have any comments or questions at all, you are more than welcome to email [email protected]

Good Luck!
